One of the oldest forms of weaving, finger weaving still has an important and vibrant
practice across Turtle Island. You will learn the basic technique and how to create patterns.
We will also discuss warp-faced textiles, tension and warp management. You will weave a
narrow band that can be used as a belt, trim or strap. With this method, you can make
wider textiles for sashes, bags or clothing panels.
